Problem
• After 20 years on the commercial side, Flavia decided to enter the already saturated consumer market of “single-serve hot beverage systems” — with a less-than-ideal product or business model.
• Instead of selling brewers, their ultimate goal was to win a contract with a major retailer (on a bush-league budget).

Solution
• From the insight that consumers want a variety of drinks for any given mood, we created the “What Are You Like?” campaign, building the entire brand from the ground up — DRTV, DM, e-mail, banner ads, B2C print, B2B print, tradeshow booth, etc.

Results
• Within a year, Flavia inked a deal with Federated Department Stores (Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s), entering the retail market in more than 800 stores.
